A woman was killed over the weekend in a head-on crash by a speeding driver who was attempting to avoid a traffic stop in Carroll County. New details have been released by the Maryland Attorney General's Office following a fatal shooting during a barricade situation in Carroll County. Police have identified 52-year-old Jack Cimino, Jr., of Sykesville as the man who was shot and killed by Sgt. Jesse Hartsock, a 15-year veteran of the Maryland State Police's Field Operations Bureau during a standoff in Eldersburg.
