Gunshots Fired Into St. Mary's County Home, Sheriff Says
Gunshots rang out in an otherwise quiet St. Mary's County neighborhood, prompting an investigation by the sheriff's office. Deputies were called to the 21000 block of Weeping Willow Lane early on Wednesday morning when a homeowner reported that there were gunshots fired into their home by un unknown shooter. No injuries were reported. Now investigators from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office are seeking the public's assistance as they attempt to track down a possible suspect. NY Man Wanted In Maryland Captured In Pennsylvania, Police Say
A fugitive was captured in Pennsylvania early Wednesday morning. The unnamed man has a Rochester, NY address, a South Carolina driver's license, and was wanted on a warrant in Maryland, the Camp Hill police explained. An officer with the CHPD pulled the man over for a traffic violation at 12:48 a.m. on March 13. A 22-year-old Maryland man has been sentenced for his role in a 2020 murder of a 17-year-old. Tyliek Anthony Spence, of Waldorf, was sentenced to life in prison with all but eight years suspended for his role in a murder on Thursday, March 7, State’s Attorney for Charles County Tony Covington said.
