17-Year-Old Boy Fatally Run Over By 2 Cars In Maryland Town A 17-year-old boy was fatally struck by two cars in Howard County this weekend, police said. The boy was in the roadway when he was struck by a 2022 Hyundai Tucscon heading west on Gorman Road near Murray Hill Road, around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19 in Laurel, county police said. The boy was then struck a second time by a 2018 Honda Civic that was traveling behind the Hyundai. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of both vehicles were uninjured and remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

Maryland State Police Investigating Fatal Two-Vehicle I-95 Crash A North Carolina man is dead after a tractor-trailer crash in Howard County, authorities say. Jonathan David Leiner, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred around 4:40 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7 on northbound I-95 in Laurel, according to Maryland State Police. Leiner was driving a tractor-trailer when he reportedly rear-ended a parked tractor-trailer on the interstate, just south of Gorman Road. Leiner was killed in the collision.
