Officers located the 19-year-old victim after receiving reports of a shooting in the 3000 block of East Preston Street shortly after 5 p.m., Friday, March 24.
The teen was found with two gunshot wounds to the chest, and officers immediately began rendering aid.
Despite life-saving measures, the teen was pronounced dead at the scene a shot time later.
Police have yet to identify any possible suspects or motives to the shooting.
