Mayor Brandon M. Scott announced on Thursday that all City buildings, including City Hall, will reopen to the public on Monday, April 4. City Hall has been closed since March 2020.
“Baltimore City has the lowest positivity rate and the lowest rate of community transmission in the entire State of Maryland; this is not an accident or a coincidence,” Mayor Scott said. “I am excited to welcome residents and visitors back into City Hall for the first time as Mayor of our great city.”
While in-person services are expected to resume the same day as the reopening, people should be aware of the safety measures that will still be enforced at City Hall. These include wearing a mask indoors, visitors being subject to a health screening and increased COVID-19 cleaning protocols. Residents can go online for a complete list of restored services.
