Police ID Maryland Man Killed In Double DC Shooting
One person was killed, and another injured in an overnight shooting in Southeast, DC, police say. William Jones, 27, was found inside a vehicle by Metropolitan Police Department officers with multiple gunshot wounds shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Monday night in the 2600 block of Bowen Road when they heard gunshots ring out. The Laurel resident was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting. A second man was also found in the area who had been shot, according to a department spokesperson.
