Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

One Killed In Parkville Shed Fire Under Investigation (Developing) At least one person was found dead inside a shed fire in Baltimore County, authorities say. The Baltimore County Fire Department responded to the 8600 block of Richmond Avenue for reports of a fire around 9:30 a.m., Monday, April 3. An initial sweep of the scene found an unidentified adult that was critically injured. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim passed away at the scene.  Police have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire or released the name of the victim.

Baltimore Police Investigating Mysterious Shooting Police are investigating a shooting in Baltimore that sent a 34-year-old man to the hospital. Baltimore police officers were called to an area hospital around 2 p.m., Friday, March 31 after receiving reports of a walk-in shooting victim. $25K Offered After Lanham Teen's Body Found Inside Vehicle The killer behind the murder of a Lanham teen is still on the run, police say. The Prince George’s County Police Department is actively looking to identify potential suspects responsible for the death of 16-year-old Eduardo Saucedo Olmos. The teen was found fatally shot in the 6400 block of Landover Road in Cheverly around 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 30. Olmos was found inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information about this murder. There are currently no known suspects or motives for the crime.

Young Man Kills Uncle In Lunchtime Argument, Prince George's County Police Say A 26-year-old man has been arrested after being accused of killing his uncle in Greenbelt. Prince George's County Police arrested Daquan White on the afternoon of Thursday, March 30 after he killed his uncle, 44-year-old Steven Mouring, during an argument. Police located the body of Mouring inside a vehicle in the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road around 1:50 p.m., and observed White running from the scene.
