Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Waldorf Man Killed In Horrific Suitland Crash Police have released the name of the driver killed in a Suitland crash over the weekend. Tony Manning, 43, has been identified as the victim in the fatal crash, that occurred around 1:40 a.m., Saturday, April 1, according to Prince George's County Police. Investigators say that Manning was driving south on Allentown Road near Leon Street when he crossed into the northbound lanes and hit a sedan.  Manning was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the send was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
