2 Hospitalized In Fair Lawn Crash Two people were hospitalized in a Fair Lawn crash Thursday morning, Oct. 10, police said. The vehicles collided on the 300 block of Saddle River Road, propelling both vehicles off the roadway, incident photographer Boyd A. Loving said. Police told Daily Voice that one car was turning and didn't see the other. Teen Among 2 Struck By Cars In Ridgewood 30 Minutes Apart: Police Two people including a 17-year-old boy were struck by vehicles in separate incidents minutes apart on Thursday morning, Oct. 10. The first incident involved the teen at 8:08 a.m., Ridgewood Police Capt. Glenn Ender said. He was riding an electric bicycle when he collided with a vehicle on Ackerman Avenue near Lenox. Minor injuries were reported and he was not hospitalized. Then, at 8:27 a.m., a 24-year-old woman was struck at N. Maple Avenue and E. Ridgewood Avenue. She was taken to The Valley Hospital in Paramus with minor injuries, Ender said.

Cat Rescued From Burning Home In Wood-Ridge Firefighters and police officers saved a cat from a burning home Wednesday evening, Oct. 9 in Bergen County. Responders made entry to the home at 198 Main Ave. in Wood-Ridge around 6 p.m., where they found the animal, sources tell Daily Voice Companies from Wood-Ridge, Lodi, Moonachie and Hasbrouck Heights responded. The cause wasn't immediately known. Sources say the house was destroyed. No further information was provided.

3-Vehicle Crash With School Bus Sends Jeep Driver To Hospital In Wood-Ridge One person was hospitalized in a three-vehicle crash with a school bus carrying people with special needs on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 9 in Bergen County, Daily Voice has learned. The school bus was carrying a group of both children and adults with special needs when it collided with a Jeep and one other vehicle on Hackensack Street at North Avenue in Wood-Ridge, sources said. The bus was evacuated and no injuries were reported. The Jeep driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
