Moosup Man Pulled From Burning Car After Crash In Sterling Dies at Hospital A 42-year-old Connecticut man was killed on Wednesday evening, Feb. 19, when he lost control of his sedan and slammed into a utility pole in Windham County, authorities said. Michael Ryan Theriault, of Moosup, was behind the wheel of a Nissan Altima heading south on Ekonk Hill Road (Route 49) in Sterling around 5:30 p.m. when his car left the road and hit the utility pole, Connecticut State Police said.
