Adam Sandler gave Bergen County fans a thrill as he took over a downtown to film "Grown Ups 3."
Sandler and a film crew were spotted around Ridgewood on Wednesday, Aug. 26, according to several social media posts from residents and local businesses.
According to Netflix’s Tudum, “Grown Ups 3” reunites Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello, and Salma Hayek Pinault more than 13 years after the last film. The movie follows the gang as they set out on an adventure now that their children are grown.

A New York native found dead on a work trip to Nashville was located in under five hours by private investigators, according to their organization.
The body of Conor Anderson, 31, was found by Covert Results PI firm, which revealed details of the search on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Anderson, a native of Huntington, Long Island, who moved to the Denver area, was last seen alive around 1 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. He was in town for a work trip surrounding a real estate conference, according to his LinkedIn page.

A drunken dad came home and got into a fight with his nanny before pushing her down while she was holding his two young children at his Bergen County home, authorities said.
Nabil Ali, 39, of Fairview, came home intoxicated at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, Fairview Deputy Police Chief John Pierotti said.
Ali got into an altercation with the family's nanny at their Fifth Street home, and pushed her to the ground while she was holding both of his children, ages 1 and 3, Pierotti said.

A drunk boater off the coast of Long Island crashed his vessel, leading to a rescue and his ensuing arrest, police said.
Christopher Carlson, 48, of Patchogue, was piloting his 2004 30-foot Grady-White boat in the Great South Bay near Sayville around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, the Suffolk County Police Department said.
Carlson struck an object in the water and called 911 to report his boat was sinking, authorities said. SCPD’s Marine Bureau arrived on scene and removed Carlson from the boat, cops said. No one else was on board.
