These Bergen County Towns Flipped From Red To Blue In 2016, 2020 Presidential Elections
Bergen County voted primarily Democratic in the 2020 Presidential Election, with many municipalities having flipped from red to blue since the 2016 election.
In 2016, 231,211 Bergen County residents voted for Hillary Clinton and 175,529 voted for Donald Trump. Bergen County remained Democratic in 2020, that year, with 285,967 residents voting blue and 204,417 red.
According to the University of Florida's Election Lab, 862,101 New Jersey Democrats and 554,951 Republicans have already voted in the 2024 Presidential Election.

In 2020, Joe Biden won 129,097 of Passaic County's votes, while Donald Trump won 92,009.

Hawthorne Mom, Kindergarten Teacher Nina Gumbman Dies, 32
Antonina "Nina" Gumbman (nee Cutrona) died on Wednesday, Oct. 30. She was 32 years old.
Nina was raised in Lodi and settled down in Hawthorne, where she lived with her husband, Keith, and their son, Nicholas, 3, according to her obituary on the Aloia Funeral Home website.
Nina worked as a Kindergarten teacher for 10 years, most recently in Elmwood Park at the 16 Avenue School.
A GoFundMe for Nina's husband and son had raised more than $20,000 as of Monday, Nov. 4.

These 10 NJ Stop & Shop Stores Have Closed
New Jersey officially has 10 fewer Stop & Shop stores.
The 10 underperforming locations closed were among 32 nationwide that the grocer announced would be closing by year's end.
Stop & Shop has kept 350 stores open, including 47 in New Jersey.

Ice Cream Shop Worker Killed In Route 80 Denville Crash Left Lasting Impact On Coworkers
Monday, Nov. 4 was going to be a big day for Cameron Ray.
It would have been the 19-year-old MSU sophomore's first day of work at Das' Creamery's new location, Das' Creamery MooTown Morris Marketplace, on East Hanover Avenue in Morristown.
Ray, of Flanders, joined Das' staff in April 2021, and has brought light and life to the ice cream shop ever since, the shop's owners tell Daily Voice.
But early Sunday morning, Nov. 3, 19-year-old Ray was killed when he rear-ended a box truck on the shoulder of Route 80 in Denville.
So, celebrations at Das' Creamery MooTown will have to wait.
