Cash For Life: Winning Lottery Ticket Worth At Least $7M Sold In Brewster A lucky winner is set to receive a thousand dollars every day after buying the right lottery ticket at a Hudson Valley gas station.  A top-prize-winning CASH4LIFE ticket worth $1,000 a day was sold in Putnam County for the drawing on Friday, Aug. 30 at a Brewster gas station, New York Lottery officials announced.  The ticket, worth a guaranteed $7 million, was sold at a Mobil gas station located at 1569 Route 22, officials added.  The winning numbers were 10 12 14 28 29 with a Cash Ball of 03.

Crash Temporarily Closes Stretch Of Roadway In Mahopac A crash that left a vehicle on its side in the Hudson Valley caused a brief road closure.  The incident happened in Putnam County on Tuesday, Sept. 3 around 12:50 p.m., when a vehicle flipped on Myrtle Avenue in Mahopac, eventually coming to a rest next to a pole, according to Carmel Police. The crash caused Myrtle Avenue to close between Carmine Drive and Potter Road for around 20 minutes as crews worked to clear the scene.  The roadway reopened around 1:10 p.m. The cause of the crash was not released.

Serious Crash In Patterson Leaves Rider In Critical Condition A person was hospitalized in critical condition following a serious crash in the Hudson Valley that caused an hours-long road closure.  The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday, Aug. 30 at around 5 p.m., when a motorcycle crashed on Route 22 near the intersection with Route 311, according to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police.  The motorcyclist was later taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, Hicks said.  Route 22 in the crash area was closed until around 8 p.m. on Friday as authorities investigated the incident.
