Update: 5 Students Injured After SUV Crashes Into School Bus In Westchester This story has been updated.  Several students were hospitalized after an SUV collided with a school bus in Northern Westchester.  The crash happened on Friday, April 12 at around 9:30 a.m., when an SUV hit a school bus on Route 132 (Old Yorktown Road) in Yorktown between Barger Street and Wildwood Street, according to Yorktown Police. Retired Police Sergeant Who Served For Decades In Westchester Dies A police department in Westchester has announced the death of one of its former members who spent his life serving his community and country.  Dutchess County resident Andrew Fischer, Sr., a retired Eastchester Police sergeant, died on Tuesday, April 9 at the age of 84, according to his obituary. Hillside Avenue (Route 100) in Greenburgh at the intersection with Valimar Boulevard reopened at around 4 p.m. after being closed for less than two hours after a tree fell on the roadway, Greenburgh Police said on Friday, April 12.
