Juvenile In Custody For Threats Made Against Hackensack Schools A juvenile is in custody after police say he made online threats of violence against multiple Hackensack schools on Saturday morning, Sept. 14. Police were made aware of the threats around 7:35 a.m. by school officials, Hackensack PD Capt. Michael Antista said. Following an investigation, a juvenile was charged with numerous juvenile delinquency offenses. The online threat, meanwhile, is unsubstantiated. Video Shows Arrest Of DUI Driver Who Rammed Luxury Car Into Little Silver Utility Pole, Fled Newly released bodycam footage shows a July 2024 arrest of a DUI driver with a history of traffic offenses who fled the scene of a crash in Monmouth County. Transparency Bodycam published footage of the crash on July 22, involving a white 2017 Mercedes GLE that had struck a pole on Mitchell Place near Oakes Road in Little Silver. Prius Crashes Through Fence Behind Japanese Ridgewood Restaurant Firefighters were called to Ridgewood on Friday evening, Sept. 13 where a black Toyota Prius crashed through a chain link fence, over a retaining wall, and into the back of a restaurant, according to incident reporter Boyd A. Loving. No injuries were reported in the incident, which left little to no damage to the building itself, Loving said. Brick Man Accused Of Having Sexual Relationships With 2 Former Students In WV: Sheriff A 50-year-old New Jersey man was arrested on accusations he had a sexual relationship with two students while working as a substitute teacher in West Virginia more than 20 years ago. Brian Kain, of Brick Township, was arrested by detectives with the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, Sept. 12, the office said in a news release.
