Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help locating a Ford pickup truck that allegedly struck and killed a young German Shepherd. The crash occurred in New Haven County around 7:40 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, near 1650 Hartford Turnpike in North Haven. According to North Haven Police, it is believed the 2-year-old dog was struck by a white Ford pickup truck or SUV heading north on the Hartford Turnpike, which did not stop. Ford announced that it would recall over 450,000 Bronco Sport SUVs and Maverick vehicles because of an issue with the battery that can cause the drive train to lose power and increase the likelihood of wrecks. $20K Fur Store Heist: Trio On Run After Incident In Stamford
Three men are on the run after allegedly ripping off a Fairfield County fur store for more than $20,000 in goods. The incident took place in Stamford around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 27 at Engle's Fur at 115 Bedford St. According to Stamford Police, the three men entered the store and walked out with the furs, fleeing in an awaiting Ford pickup truck with misused Florida plates IBB434.
