Former Fox Affiliate TV Anchor Admits To Stabbing Mother To Death A former local television news anchor whose career included several stations across the country has admitted to a crime that could keep her behind bars for decades. Angelynn “Angie” Mock, 48, pleaded guilty Friday, Aug. 21, to first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of her 80-year-old mother, Anita Avers, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office.
