Merritt Parkway Lanes Will Be Closed During Bridge Work There will be weeknight lane closures on the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield County for several days as contractors continue overnight bridge maintenance activity in Trumbull. The Connecticut State Department of Transportation announced that beginning on Monday, March 18, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., there will be various lane closures, which are expected to last through Friday, March 22.
