Police: Woman Hit By Car And Pinned Underneath It In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. — A woman suffered serious injuries when she was hit by a car and pinned underneath it in a strip mall parking lot in Norwalk on Sunday afternoon, according to The Hour.  Officers who were dispatched to 205 Main St. at 3:15 p.m. found the woman trapped under the car, police told The Hour.  Firefighters used tools to raise the car and free the woman, who was taken to Norwalk Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, The Hour said. Two Injured In Head-On Crash Near Target In Bethel BETHEL, Conn. — Two people were taken to Danbury Hospital after a two-car crash on Route 6 in front of Target in Bethel on Saturday morning, according to a Facebook post from the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company.  At 11:45 a.m., Stony Hill Fire & EMS were dispatched to Route 6 in front of Target for the two-car accident, the post said.  Two cars sustained heavy front-end damage after a head-on crash on the busy road, the post said.  The two people who were sent to Danbury Hospital suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the post said.  The roadway was briefly closed after the crash.

Redding's Mark Twain Library Closed Until Further Notice REDDING, Conn. — The Mark Twain Library in Redding is closed and facing a big repair job. The town's library will be closed until further notice while the furnace is replaced, according to an announcement.  The library closed its doors at noon last Tuesday because of the lack of heat.
