Runners, jumpers and throwers from Weston High School joined athletes from nine other schools in kicking off the indoor track season Saturday at the 26th running of the Wilton Reindeer Relays. The meet, which includes a few individual events but focuses on relays of four team members running various distances, has been the traditional lid-lifter for the FCAIC and SWC undercover campaign.
As usual, there were spirited races and some noteworthy performances. But mostly, it was a chance for the athletes, especially those who have not run yet this year, to give their competitive legs a test run on the Zeoli Fieldhouse oval.
