The Daily Weston received the following letter from Weston police officers Chris Powers and Travis Arnette:
On behalf of the Weston Police Benevolent Association and the Weston Police Union, we would like to thank everyone who took the time to support the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots drive, which collects new and unwrapped toys, and distributes them to less fortunate children for the holidays.
This year you donated enough toys to fill three police cruisers. Your support has played a part in the continued success of this very important program. It's people like you that make a difference in this community.
Again, many thanks for your generosity. We hope that you and your families have a safe and happy New Year.
