From 70-degree weather Friday to snow showers Monday, it seems that Mother Nature either has a cruel sense of humor or she didn't get the memo that it's now officially spring.
Yes, Monday marks the first full day of spring. But judging by the gray skies and thin sheet of snow covering the ground around Westport, you might think it's still mid-January.
According to the National Weather Service, a mixture of rain and snow is expected to continue until about 1 p.m., followed by rain throughout the day. Sunny skies with highs in the 50s are forecast for Tuesday, but more snow and rain may fall on Wednesday and Thursday.
