Fairfield County Woman Bites Cop, Falls On Target's Red Ball After Shopping-Bag Assault: Police
A Connecticut woman is facing charges for allegedly assaulting a police officer during an arrest outside of a shopping mall, authorities said.
In New Haven County, police in Milford were called just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, with reports of a disturbance at the Connecticut Post Mall near the Target store.
When officers arrived, a juvenile victim informed them that 51-year-old Serita Harris, of Stratford in Fairfield County, had assaulted him with her shopping bags, police said.
As police were trying to detain Harris, she bit an officer on the wrist, according to police.

Massive Recall Issued For Gummies Sold At Amazon, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Other Major Retailers
A company is recalling millions of units of fruit gummies that were sold in stores nationwide after receiving reports of the cap popping off with force, causing injuries.
On Wednesday, March 16, Reckitt recalled 63 and 75 count bottles of Airborne Gummies, which were sold in blueberry pomegranate, orange, and assorted fruit flavors, according to an announcement on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission's website.

Trio Accused Of Stealing From Multiple Stores Throughout CT
Three men have been arrested for allegedly stealing large spools of wire at Lowe's stores across Connecticut.
The trio, identified as Daniel Raymond Thomas, age 22, Clarence Gerald Davis, age 22, and 23-year-old Marcus Hunter, all of Fort Worth, Texas, were arrested Wednesday, Nov. 17, in Hartford County when the Southington Police responded to the Lowes Home Improvement, at 500 Executive Blvd S., on a report of a theft of large spools of wire in progress.
