Marc "Markey" Desruisseaux,  a graduate of Stratford High School, was killed on Thursday, April 13 at the intersection of Main Street and West Board Street when his motorcycle was hit by a Corvette, according to the Stratford Police. Teen Charged With Attacking School Police Officer At High School, Police Say An 18-year-old Fairfield County teen has been arrested for attacking a school resource officer at an area high school. Stefan Thomas, of Stratford, was arrested following an altercation at Stratford High School on Thursday, Feb. 13, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti. According to Eannotti, during the incident Thomas refused to leave the school property when directed by the school staff and the school resource officer. Lockdown Lifted, Arrests Pending At Stratford High School STRATFORD, Conn. — A fight possibly involving a knife led to a lockdown at Stratford High School this morning, according to Stratford police. “There was a fight at Stratford High School this morning,” read a tweet from the department’s Twitter account. “Someone alleged that a knife was displayed and the school was placed in lockdown for precaution.” The lockdown was lifted a few hours later after the individuals involved were identified and secured. Police said the fight was isolated and there was no threat to other students, faculty or the public. Two arrests are pending.
