Fatal CT Officer-Involved Shooting Under Investigation
Police in Connecticut shot and killed a suspect Thursday evening, Sept. 19, near a car wash in New Haven County. The shooting happened around 5 p.m. near the Splash Car Wash on Boston Post Road in West Haven. Authorities did not identify the victim but said he is a 36-year-old man from the city, Connecticut State Police said. Car Wash Employee Run Over By Customer In Greenwich
A car wash employee suffered serious injuries after being run over by a customer in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Greenwich at the Splash Car Wash at 73 Post Road around 10:20 a.m., on Monday, July 10. An initial investigation determined that an employee of the car wash was struck by a vehicle exiting the wash. The vehicle then continued crossing Post Road where it collided with another vehicle's driver's side, said Lt. Patrick Smyth of the Greenwich Police.
