Woman Dies From Injuries Suffered In Trumbull Crash A driver that crashed on Route 25 in Fairfield County last week died, officials reported. Connecticut State Police announced on Sunday, Jan. 12, that Shelton resident Jessica Kozlowski, 38, died following a crash in Trumbull on Friday, Jan. 10. Kozlowski was driving southbound north on Route 25 near exit 6 in Trumbull when she lost control and struck a rock wall in the median, police said.  She was transported to Bridgeport Hospital with “life-threatening injuries” and pronounced dead at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The crash remains under investigation.

Leogiovanni Fernandes Spencer, 21, of Bridgeport, has been identified as the man shot around 9:21 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, when two gunshots were fired on Gem Avenue near Whitney Avenue, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. Spencer was shot in the head and neck while seated in a vehicle, and the vehicle's driver fled the scene, attempting to take the victim to the hospital, Jones said.  …

Man, 24, Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree On Route 25 In Trumbull A 24-year-old man was killed in after his car crashed into a tree on Route 25 in Trumbull on Saturday. The crash, just south of Route 111, occurred around 3:30 p.m. when Brendan Murren of Trumbull lost control of his car while switching lanes, went up a small embankment and into a tree, police said.  Murren was pronounced dead at St. Vincent’s Hospital.

According to the Brookfield Police, the roadway was closed for hours as the department's Major Crash Investigation Team worked the crash scene.
