29-Year-Old Man Gunned Down On New Haven Roadway In Broad Daylight A man walking down a Connecticut city street was killed by a passenger in a vehicle firing out of the window in broad daylight. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. in New Haven on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the intersection of Grand Avenue and East Pearl Street. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, officers responded to the area after receiving a report of a gunshot victim. Armed Robberies: Man Gets Nearly 10 Years For Heists In Fairfield County, Elsewhere A judge sentenced a 33-year-old Connecticut man who admitted to two 2019 armed robberies to more than nine years in federal prison on Monday, April 24, authorities said.  Fairfield County resident Latrell S. Moore, of Bridgeport, pleaded guilty to multiple charges in the case in March 2022, the US Attorney for Connecticut said.
