A Connecticut man and convicted felon was arrested on additional drug charges after police allegedly found him with a stash of drugs and weapons.
The New Haven County arrest was made on Thursday, May 2 in the city of New Haven.
At approximately 11 a.m. that day, Connecticut State Police, the Statewide Narcotics Task Force, and multiple other agencies executed a search on Quezon A. Jones, age 26.

The sister of a Connecticut street gang leader will spend time in prison for her role in a fentanyl trafficking ring, federal officials announced.
In 2018, the FBI’s Northern Connecticut Gang Task Force began investigating Ricardo Reyes, also known as “Rick the Ruler,” a member of the Los Solidos street gang who was distributing fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and crack in the area of Park Street and Hungerford Street in Hartford County.

A Fairfield County barber was arrested on multiple drug and weapons charges following a search of an area barbershop.
Anthony Sanchez, age 42, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, June 9, following a raid, which included the FBI and state police, at the Stylz barbershop located at 1156 State St., in Bridgeport, said Captain Kevin Gilleran.
As a result of the investigation, police seized crack cocaine, digital scales, 1 Ruger .380 caliber handgun, several rounds of ammunition, powdered cocaine, heroin with fentanyl, ecstasy, Xanex, marijuana, and $1,914 in cash.

Fairfield County Man Busted For Multiple Drug Offenses, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been arrested on mulitple drug charges, according to police.
Trevor Dixon, 33, of Shelton, was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 27, by the Shelton Police following an investigation, said Det. Richard Bango.
Dixon was arrested after police executed a search and seizure warrant at 156 Coram Ave. in Shelton, Bango said.
During the search, warrant detectives seized 47 grams of individually packaged crack cocaine, 25 grams of marijuana, packaging materials and supplies, and $8,300 in cash.

A Stratford man has been charged in the shooting death of a local man on July 4.
Charles Anthony Bonilla, 20, was arrested Thursday, Nov. 14, arrested and charged with the shooting death of Richard McDonald that occurred in Green Homes, in Bridgeport, on July 4, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
Bonilla is alleged to have shot McDonald in the head near the rear of building 4 in Green Homes and fled the scene, Jones said.

A Bridgeport man is facing drug charges after police say he was pulled over for a missing license plate in Darien.
Darien Police say they stopped a vehicle that was missing a front license plate on Old Kings Highway North on Monday, June 24 around 11:45 a.m.
Further investigation revealed that the registration plate of the vehicle, a 2014 Toyota Corolla, actually belonged on an Acura, police say.
