New Canaan Police say they responded to the Mobil Station at 16 South Ave. on a report of a man asleep in a vehicle in the parking lot on Wednesday, Oct. 9 around 3 a.m. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Nestor Salomon, 29, of Dorchester, Massachusetts, was holding a half-full bottle of Champagne in his hand, police say.
