64-Year-Old Woman Hit, Killed By Car In Stratford STRATFORD, Conn. — A 64-year-old woman was hit and killed by a car Tuesday morning while crossing Longbrook Avenue near Paterson Avenue in a busy part of Stratford, police Capt. Frank Frank Eannotti said. Eannotti said the woman was taken to Bridgeport Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Police are investigating the fatal accident, which occurred on the road behind the Burlington Coat Factory, a busy cut-through street in the area.  No charges have been filed in the incident, which occurred at about 6:30 a.m. on a rainy day, and the victim was not identified.
