Suspects Pistol Whip Clerk In Norwalk Armed Robbery NORWALK, Conn. -- A Cumberland Farms employee suffered non-life threatening injuries after being pistol-whipped by two masked men in an armed robbery just before midnight, Norwalk Police said. The clerk suffered a head injury after the two suspects described as two white males robbed the store of cash around 11:30 p.m., Lt. Terry Blake said. The business is located at 136 Main St. Norwalk has been hit by a number of armed robberies including a pair of food delivery men, one of whom was shot and wounded last week, as well as the armed robbery of Rainbow News and Variety.

Westport Police Say They Arrested Man With A Taste For Energy Drink WESTPORT, Conn. — A Bridgeport man who is attempted to steal nearly $112 worth of energy drinks from a Westport grocery store was arrested Saturday, police said. Westport Police had a warrant for the arrest of Louis Bottone, 23, of 362 Funston Ave., on a sixth-degree larceny charge. His bond was set at $5,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. On Sept. 21 police arrested Bottone on a theft charge after Stop & Shop security detained him for allegedly stealing energy drinks, police said. Westport Cops: Woman Found Asleep At The Wheel With Pound Of Meth In Car WESTPORT, Conn. — Police arrested a 26-year-old woman on drug charges after finding her asleep at the wheel on Post Road East near Compo Road just after midnight Tuesday with a pound of meth in her car, Westport police said. Norwalk Police: Woman, 51, Sliced Boyfriend's Right Eyeball With Metal Rod NORWALK, Conn. — A 60-year-old Norwalk man had to be rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital after his girlfriend sliced his right eyeball with a jagged metal rod during a dispute late Monday, Norwalk police said. Heidi Johnson, 51, of 40 Main St., was charged with first-degree assault. Her bond was set at $25,000, and she was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday. 16-Year-Old In Serious Condition After Late-Night Shooting In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A 16-year-old boy was reported in serious condition after being shot in the back late Monday, Bridgeport Police said. The shooting occurred at 9:33 p.m. in front of 177 Denver Ave., when an unknown assailant fired multiple shots at the male victim, police said. Norwalk Police: Two Armed Men Rob Grocery Store NORWALK, Conn. — Officers are searching for two men armed with handguns who robbed a Bouton Street grocery store just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, Norwalk police said. The suspects are described as white males who wore ski masks to conceal their identities, police said. They made off with cash, police said. Stamford Police: Curfew Check On Brothers Ends Up With Drug Charges STAMFORD, Conn. — Two brothers are facing charges after a curfew check by probation officers Thursday night led to the discovery of marijuana packaged and ready to be sold, police said. Police: Man Charged In Shampoo Theft In Darien Suspected In Stamford Case DARIEN, Conn. — A man suspected of cleaning out high-end shampoo and hair products in multiple towns was arrested Friday morning after he allegedly tried to do it again, Darien Police said.
