STAMFORD, Conn. Haggerty Pools looks to wrap up a perfect season in the Major Division of the North Stamford Little League Tuesday when it meets County TV in the regular-season finale.
Haggerty, 16-0, defeated Viking Construction, 5-1, Monday. Michael Lisinicchia pitched a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts to lead Haggerty. Grant Pupura had two hits and scored two runs, while Nate Salm had two hits and two RBI.
County TV lost to Haggerty, 13-0, in their only previous meeting April 29. County TV (9-7) is in second place in the eight-team league, and has won seven of its last eight games.
