Anna Wentworth Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Anna Wentworth, of Stamford, died at her home Dec. 13.

She was born Jan. 10, 1934, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Santo and Virginia Savoca. 

She was the sister of the late Joseph Savoca and Ralph Savoca. 

Upon graduation from Mamaroneck High School and the N.Y. School of Business Practice and Speech, she worked for IBM in New York for six years. 

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Don, who became her greatest caregiver as she battled PSP the last seven years. 

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Wentworth and his wife Lori, and her daughter, Pamela Capone and her husband Walt, as well as her grandchildren, Alex and Austin Wentworth and Brett and Lauren Capone.

A celebration of her life will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 9 at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford.
