Man Fires Gun At Teen After Catching Him In His Car In New Haven, Police Say
A New Haven man who works as a school security guard has been arrested for allegedly firing a gun at a 14-year-old after catching two juveniles in his vehicle. The incident took place in New Haven around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22 on Hallock Avenue. When officers responded to a report of gunfire they located Tiquentes Graybrown, age unknown, in front of his New Haven home, armed with a handgun, said New Haven Police Capt. Rose Bell. Teachers, Staff Demand More Discipline For CT Principal Accused Of Using Racial Slur
Staff members from a Connecticut school district are calling on additional discipline for a magnet school principal who was recently demoted and removed from her position after allegedly using a racial slur. Earlier this month, the New Haven Board of Education voted 4-3 to reassign Brennan-Rogers Magnet School Principal Laura Roblee from her position after she allegedly used the racial slur this winter during a workshop on racism and inclusion.
