Motorist Caught Speeding Near School Under Influence, Milford Police Say
A 40-year-old man was busted for speeding, while allegedly under the influence in the area of a school and a playground, Milford Police said.
Fernando Monter-Aztatzi of New Haven was stopped for allegedly speeding around 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 21, on Merwin Avenue, near Anderson Avenue, said the Milford Police.
During the stop, officers noticed that Monter-Aztatzi was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, police said.
Police said refused to provide a breath or urine sample. During a search, officers found less than a half-ounce of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.&n…
