Norwalk Teacher Accused Of Abusing Student, Police Say A Fairfield County teacher has been arrested for allegedly abusing a student by knocking him out of a chair and dragging him. The arrest took place in Norwalk at West Rocks Middle School on Thursday, June 16. New Haven County resident, York Mario, age 61, of Orange, was arrested following an investigation that was initiated in Nov. 2021, said Sgt. West Rocks Middle School Mourns Death Of Longtime Office Employee NORWALK, Conn. — West Rocks Middle School in Norwalk was in mourning after a longtime office employee died Wednesday morning after a long illness. The Norwalk Public School District announced the death of long-time West Rocks employee Marcia Cappo. "It is with great sadness and regret that we share the passing of longtime West Rocks employee, Marcia Cappo," the district said in a Facebook post.
