Child Fatally Struck In Driveway Of NY Home
Police are investigating a crash that fatally injured a child in the driveway of his home in New Yorrk. It happened on Long Island just after 11:35 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 in Huntington Station. A 2006 Lexus RX 330 to 8 3rd Ave., when the vehicle struck 4-year-old Rasool Guevara in the driveway, Suffolk County Police said. She and other family members transported the victim to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 3,100 Bags Of Heroin In Cereal Box Found After Massachusetts Troopers Stop Subaru, Police Say
There was no prize inside a box of cereal found in a vehicle during a motor-vehicle stop in Western Massachusetts, but instead, police say they uncovered thousands of bags of heroin. Trooper Scott Boutell was working in Franklin County out of the Massachusetts State Police-Shelburne Falls Barracks just before 12:30 a.m. on Friday, July 16, when he observed a black Subaru Forrester with improper auxiliary lights illuminated and an illegible handwritten temporary license plate, according to state police. Norwalk Man Driving At Very Low Rate Of Speed, Without License Charged With DUI, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was charged with a DUI after an officer allegedly spotted him driving under 10 miles per hour at night with his taillights out. According to Darien Police, 43-year-old Nazario Vasquez, of Norwalk, was pulled over at approximately 12:15 a.m. as he was exiting off Interstate 95 on Sunday, Oct. 25. Vasquez reportedly admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the evening, and was driving without a license.
