Man Charged In $6K Theft From Store In Fairfield County A suspect has been charged for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise from a Fairfield County store with two others. Westport Police said officers responded to a report of shoplifting just before 7 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2020 at the Ulta Beauty located at 1365 Post Road East. Employees told police that three people came into the store and put a large amount of merchandise in a handbasket. The suspects then allegedly left the store without paying and drove away. Greenwich Traffic Stop Leads To Discovery Of Stolen Wallets Valued At $2K, Police Say Two men are facing charges after a Greenwich traffic stop led to the discovery of two stolen wallets valued at around $1,000 each, police say. Greenwich police conducted a traffic stop Wednesday, Feb. 13 at around 1:30 p.m. after observing a vehicle run a stop sign. The driver, identified as 35-year-old Julio Patrone of the Bronx, was found to have no license. Further investigation also led to the discovery of two Alexander McQueen wallets inside the vehicle, one valued at $995 and the other at $1,095 for a total of $2,090.
