Here's How Many Crashes State Police Have Responded To So Far During Thanksgiving Holiday Connecticut State Police officials have released the number of calls for services and vehicle crashes troopers have responded to so far entering Thanksgiving weekend, during the holiday enforcement period. As of early Saturday morning, state police received 5,046 calls for service since the start of Thanksgiving Holiday enforcement period.  "We responded to a total of 244 reported accidents with unfortunately one of those accidents being a fatal motor vehicle accident," state police said.
