A 35-year-old woman was taken into custody after stealing hundreds of dollars worth of products from a Connecticut Macy's and hitting an employee who confronted her, police said. The incident happened in New Haven County on Monday, May 6 around 4:45 p.m., when a shoplifter was confronted by police at the Macy's in Milford at 1201 Boston Post Rd. (Route 1). CT Man Arrested For $3 Armed Robbery, Police Say
A Connecticut man was arrested for an alleged armed robbery at a convenience store in which he walked out with only $3. New Haven County resident David Newman was arrested just hours after he walked into the Cumberland Farms, on Route 1 (Boston Post Road) in Milford around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, and pointed a knife at an employee behind the counter and demanded money, said the Milford Police. 28-Year-Old Woman Stole $220 Worth Of Items At Whole Foods, Police Say
After allegedly stealing more than $220 worth of merchandise from a Whole Foods in Milford, a 28-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with larceny and risk of injury, police said. The incident occurred Sunday, Nov. 18 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Milford police responded to Whole Foods located at 1686 Boston Post Road (Route 1) after hearing reports of a shoplifter in custody. Upon further investigation, police arrested Adelina Lingurar of Woodbridge, Virginia. Lingurar has a $250 bond and has a scheduled court date of Tuesday, Dec. 11.
