Nationwide Recall Issued For Meat Products Due To Possible Contamination A  nationwide recall has been issued for a brand of meat products. Fratelli Beretta USA, Inc., based in Mount Olive, NJ, says the undetermined amount of ready-to-eat (RTE) meat charcuterie products containing Coppa may be under-processed, which may have resulted in possible contamination with foodborne pathogens. The recall was announced by the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). USDA Recalls 862,000 Pounds Of Italian Meat Due To Salmonella Contamination Hundreds of thousands of pounds of uncured Italian meats tied to a salmonella outbreak are being recalled b the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). Mount Olive, New Jersey-based Fratelli Beretta announced that it is recalling approximately 862,000 pounds of uncured antipasto products that may be contaminated with Salmonella Infantis and/or Salmonella Typhimurium. Toys 'R' Us May Close Another 200 Stores, Report Says Less than a month after announcing it planned to close 182 outlets, another 200 Toys 'R' Us stores may also be closing, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal on Thursday. The total of near 400 closures would be 45 percent of the toy retailer's total number of stores. Toys 'R' Us also reversed plans to offer severance packages to all affected employees, The Wall Street Journal reported. The locations of the 200 stores were not available.
