It may not feel that way, but summer is far from over. A stretch of cool, comfortable days will be followed by a return to more seasonable temperatures, according to the National Weather Service. An early spring cold snap that has made it feel more like late January than late March will be followed by the arrival of a new storm system that will lead to a return of more seasonable temperatures. Memorial Day weekend is known as the unofficial start of summer. But that couldn't have been further from the case this year with high temperatures averaging about 20 degrees below normal last weekend.
