ID Released For Redding Man Found Dead In Area Lake A Fairfield County man found dead in Lake Carmel after an exhaustive search has been identified by police in Putnam County. Jeremy Kipnis, 54, of Redding, was found floating in the middle of Lake Carmel around 5:30 a.m., Monday, July 22, said the Kent Police. Kipnis disappeared after telling his wife he was going swimming Saturday afternoon, July 20, but then never returned home.
