Woman Who Died Aboard Flight Into Boston Logan Airport ID'd The person who died while on a flight from Paris to Boston has been identified as a 53-year-old woman from Kansas, authorities said. Barbara Dipoli, of Topeka, Kansas, died on an Air France Flight on Tuesday, Dec. 14, after suffering a medical episode, Massachusetts State Police said. In a statement to NBC Boston, Air France said a doctor on the flight had attempted to save her life. 69-Year-Old Storrs Woman ID'd As Victim In Fatal Mansfield Crash After Van Hits Tree A 69-year-old Connecticut woman was killed earlier this week when her car went off of a road and crashed into a tree, police said. Jen Webster, of Storrs, lost control of her Honda Odyssey on Chaffiteeville Road in Mansfield a little after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, and hit a tree, Connecticut State Police said. Missing RI Officer Found Dead In CT A Connecticut man who works as a police sergeant in Rhode Island was found dead at a town hall in Windham County this week after having been reported missing, Daily Voice has learned. Scituate (Rhode Island) Police Sgt. Jason Riquier, 47, was discovered in a vehicle at the Sterling Town Hall on Monday, Jan. 13, law enforcement sources familiar with the incident confirmed. Manchester Firefighters Rescue Dog From Burning Home Firefighters in Hartford County rescued a dog from a burning home on Tuesday, Jan. 14, saving the pooch before flames consumed the property. Crews were called to a home at 69 Fleming Road in Manchester just before 2:30 p.m. They arrived to find smoke billowing from the roofline. The family escaped mostly unharmed.
