Stamford Native Turns Back King Lacrosse

Kyle Webb of Stamford again proved why he is a top New England lacrosse net minder, turning back 20 King School shots as Greens Farms Academy won, 6-2. Webb was the ultimate backstop to a suffocating GFA defense that worked to deflate King's Senior Day celebration.

The defensive midfield of Chris Morency of Norwalk, Munir Qaddourah of Trumbull and Chris Tarika of Fairfield along with long poles Nick Corroon of Darien, Zach Sherin of Weston, Harry Garland of Westport and captain Evan Bieder of Southport kept the Vikings at bay for most of the game, including shutting them out for two quarters.
