Norwalk High School varsity boys basketball head coach Bobby Trimboli has stepped down from his post, according to published reports. Norwalk made two state tournament appearances under Trimboli in 2009 and 2010 but never had a winning record.
The published reports gave Trimboli's reasons for stepping down as "job related," suggesting that he had been offered a position with another school. The Norwalk High School boys basketball team struggled through a 4-16 campaign in 2010-11.
