FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. - After a week away, analyst and former Stamford High School head football coach Kevin Jones returns to discuss Fairfield County high school football. Kevin and host Eric Gendron break down the biggest upset of the season so far: Stamford stunned New Canaan to potentially knock the Rams out of the conference championship.
Week 9 in the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference features a lull before the all-important Thanksgiving Day clashes. Five conference teams are in the running for state playoff spots, while Staples and Greenwich will likely face off for the conference title. Kevin talks about what a coach has to do to keep his players focused on the task at hand and not looking ahead to bigger games.
