NORWALK, Conn. A brilliant duel between Staples' Henry Wynne and Fairfield Warde's Harry Warnick highlighted the boys cross country championship race Monday at Waveny Park in New Canaan.
Wynne won the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference event by a mere two seconds over Warnick, who was the runner-up last year. Danbury's boys team won the team championship. Greenwich's Abby Markowitz won the girls individual crown, while Ridgefield girls captured the team championship. Complete results are available on clubct.org.
