Darlene Moody of 39 Fairfield Ave., turned herself in to police at 2 p.m. Sunday.
She was charged with second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, evading responsibility, driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest and reckless driving.
She was held on $500,000 bond for a Dec. 14 court appearance.

At about 9:15 p.m. Sept. 15, 65-year-old Archie Hilliard was found lying in the street at the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Lowe Street and suffering from life-threatening injuries, police said.
The vehicle that had struck Hilliard, who was a walking in the area, fled the scene before officers arrived, police said.
Hilliard was transported to Norwalk Hospital, where he died of his injuries, police said.
He lived on Leonard Street in Norwalk, about 2 miles from where he was hit, police said.
Patrol officers quickly located the suspect — Darlene Moody — and her vehicle on nearby Ely Avenue, police said.
Blood evidence was obtained from Moody, which later showed her to be over the legal limit to drive, police said. After a lengthy investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Moody, and she turned herself in on Sunday.
