Receptionist At Chiropractic Office In Norwalk Faces More Theft Charges

NORWALK, Conn. — A Stamford woman charged in April with stealing checks and credit cards from patients while working at a Norwalk chiropractic office was arrested Thursday on additional charges, according to The Hour.

Rashel Williams, 36, was charged with two counts each of second-degree forgery, third-degree identity theft, and third-degree larceny, The Hour said.

In February and March, Williams took credit card and check information from patients while working at the doctor's office and cashed them or attempted to cash them at multiple stores, including Sears and Zales,  and Foxwoods casino, police told The Hour.

In April, Williams was charged with identity theft, second-degree forgery, illegal use of a credit card and sixth-degree larceny in similar incidents.
